Raising in only five seconds and lowering in merely two seconds yields a fast cycle rate of over 100 vehicles in and out per hour, making the DSC7090 ideal for higher traffic and population locations. The DSC7090 is used when wide roadways need to be secured from attacking vehicles and in largerparking areas where security systems are needed to deter theft.
The DSC7090 is crash tested to an ASTM M30/P1 rating. That means it will stop a 15,000 pound (6800 kg) truck going 30 mph (50 kph) with negative 6.3 feet(1.9 m) of penetration. The dual beam design provides coverage of 12 to 24 feet (3.7 to 7.3 m) of roadway with a full 90 degree opening. This prevents both large and small vehicles from breaching the security perimeter.

The bolt-down design of the DSC7090 provides easy installation now and, if needed, for replacement in the future. To meet the heightened demands of higher traffic and population traffic locales, the DSC7090 deploys sophisticated touch screen controls and the same Delta control logic as used by key government organizations. This includes an LED light strip and traffic lights. Also available is a strobe light and other audio and visual alarm options.
The DSC7090 operates remotely by means of an integral Hydraulic Pumping Unit (HPU) that is buttress enclosed. The HPU can be powered from a local single or three-phase power source. Alternative power options are also available.
